MATT THOMAYER

Coach Thomayer grew up in Milford, Ohio playing baseball and football. Coach Thomayer has resided in Scott County with his family for the last eight years, and can often be found at the Scott County Youth Baseball fields coaching or watching his four kids play baseball.

 

Coach Thomayer has coached in Scott County Youth Baseball for six years, including four years as a head coach, and the last three years serving on the Scott County Youth Baseball Board. Coach Thomayer has also been a head coach and assistant coach for SCYB All-Stars. He served as an assistant coach for one year on the GBC Mavericks 10U team.

 

Coach Thomayer enjoys working with kids, focusing on fundamentals, the importance of teamwork, and mental growth/toughness; all of which are valuable in life outside of baseball.
