DAVID CURTIS

Head Coach (7U)

Coach Curtis has called Georgetown home for almost 40 years.  He began playing baseball at age five, all the way through high school.  He played varsity baseball for Scott County High School for three years, earning a spot on the All-District Team his junior season and various All-Tournament Teams throughout.  In addition, he was named a team captain his senior season.  An unfortunate shoulder injury forced Coach Curtis to end his baseball career at the conclusion of his senior season.

Coach Curtis has coached youth baseball in Scott County for six years, serving mainly as head coach.  He was an assistant coach with the 6U Scott County All Stars this past summer, winning two championship rings.  In addition to coaching, Coach Curtis has been an educator in Scott County for over 14 years, working primarily with elementary-aged students.  He is committed to creating a positive environment, while focusing on player development, on and off the field.
