CHRIS DAVIS

Head Coach (8U Black)

Coach Davis graduated from Bryan Station High School in Lexington, where he served as a three sport varsity letterman (Football-Wrestling-Baseball). He received all-city honors for football and baseball and was an All-State selection for wrestling.

 

Coach Davis received baseball offers to Asbury University, Lee’s College and Lindsey Wilson,

and an offer from Cumberland College to wrestle. Instead, he opted to enlist in the

United States Marine Corps as a Machine Gunner (MOS 0331).


Coach Davis’ coaching experience involves Northern Cal Ripken, Lexington for seven seasons

(T-ball, Rookie and Major League), serving as an All Star Coach for seven seasons, and being

Cal Ripken State Champion two times, Cal Ripken Ohio Valley Regional Runner-up, and Kentuckiana

Travel Ball Champion. Coach Davis has coached in Scott County Youth Baseball for two seasons as an

Assistant Coach, and been involved as a Cal Ripken State Champion and Cal Ripken Ohio Valley

Regional Runner-up. Coach Davis also coached a 16U travel baseball high school division

in Lexington for two seasons.

Coach Davis currently serves as an Assistant Baseball and Football Coach at Scott County High School.
